Stanwood Camano School District:
2017 Bond Proposal Outreach
A divided community
Originally two separate districts in Northwest Washington, the Stanwood-Camano School District faced the challenge of bringing together the communities of Stanwood and Camano Island into one united community to support the construction of a new $147.5 million high school––no easy feat according to district history.
A decisive victory!
With coordinated communication efforts between the Superintendent, CSG, and The League, we were able to effectively communicate the need for the new high school and win the support of the two communities. The bond proposal passed with 72 percent of the vote in Stanwood and 65 percent on Camano Island.
