State funding changes add confusion

Cashmere School District’s levy was up for renewal, but changes to education funding made at the state level were making the message confusing. Add to that the need for a small bond, and the district had a recipe for complicated communications!

The League cuts the confusion!

With their extensive experience communicating the funding changes for their member districts, The League was able to swoop in and clean up the Cashmere mailer message in no time! “Many people commented on how well the information was presented in a very clear way,” said Superintendent Glenn Johnson, “Thanks again for all of your help!”

Cashmere received an approval of over 70% for their bond and over 72% for their levy!

Award-Winning!

The Washington School Public Relations Association presented this project with an Award of Excellence for a district under 10,000 students at the 2018 award ceremony.
